As I'm sure many of you are already aware one of the Lions of American politics Charles Rangel a model of virtue has magnanimously temporarily stepped down as Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee due mere unsubstantiated allegations of not paying his taxes or reporting income(feel free to take the aforementioned words as sarcasm or sagacious words of those who are quite simply morally superior & highly intelligent & don't need facts or empirical data when emotion & gospel will do) http://waysandmeans.house.gov/Default.aspx(just the group that write our taxes)
The Committee on Ways and Means is the oldest committee of the United States Congress, and is the chief tax-writing committee in the House of Representatives. The Committee derives a large share of its jurisdiction from Article I, Section VII of the U.S. Constitution which declares, "All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.
Just keep in mind regardless of your political affiliation or feelings on this...if you or I did what Charles did...we would at least be heavily fined & audited...but quite possibly might face prosecution & jail time...instead of going into the various allegations...I will leave you with a sight rewrite of a tune to give you something to think about...enjoy
