Music Review Time...Kudo's to Slash for putting out the first really good Rock album in a too long time. There is a fair amount of new good music coming out(but way too much garbage)...but a great Rock album was lacking...until now that is. Slash's new album is awesome & one of those albums where every song is really good. This was soooo needed. When I was at my brothers house recently my 5yr going on 6(or is that 16...or 60) niece was dancing around singing Brittney & Lady Gaga songs...I thought I was going to pull my own head off! I played her some stuff on my ITouch (Candyman by Christina A wasn't as good an idea as I thought once I keyed in on lines like "makes my Cherry Pop" but she liked the Andrews Sisters like video & the song...I need to be more careful)...some Beatles & the like & luckily she liked that stuff. Now while this album's targeted audience isn't exactly my niece & nephew at least its good to know that some real new rock is coming out & hopefully they will start hearing stuff like this vs. overproduced Pop & Hip-Hop(please notice I said overproduced..there is some good POP & Hip-Hop...just too much crap) in the future...
Slash did a great job of gathering talent for the lead vocals...Ozzie Osbourne, Fergie, David Grohl, Adam Levine, Iggy Pop, Chris Connell etc...my favorites were
